About the founders…
Both Danny and Ed have a passion for wine, the Marine Corps, and entrepreneurial business. Give us a call if you'd like to chat about business, wine, Marine Corps, or sports... or if you just want to have a beer! Thanks and we hope you enjoy the website but more importantly, enjoy the wines!
Danny James and Ed Donahoo are both Service Academy graduates and former active duty Marines.
Ed is originally from Alabama and went to the Naval Academy in Annapolis graduating in 2003. He served seven years in the Marines as a logistics officer and deployed three times to Iraq. While stationed in Fort Lauderdale, FL he frequently travelled to South America. He discovered the incredible wine culture of Uruguay which such an lasting impact that he decided to start a wine import and distribution company dedicated to Uruguayan wines.
Danny was born and raised in South Florida and attended the Merchant Marine Academy graduating in 2003. He then became was a Marine Corps tank officer and deployed twice to Iraq. Danny has committed to serving yet again and will activate with the Marines and spend the next year working embassy security duties in North and West Africa.
